Car and moped collide near Sutton Station

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after a moped and a car collided in Brighton Road in Sutton town centre.

The police were called at 12.21pm today to reports of the incident near Domino’s Pizza, near Sutton Station.

Sutton Guardian:

One man was taken to hospital with a back injury. A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at midday then it was cancelled as the patient left the scene.

"Then we were called again at 12.15pm. We sent one ambulance crew to one patient – a man in his twenties. He was taken to St Helier Hospital – not as a priority.”

I hope he makes a full recovery.The Dominos riders are dangerous riders. Riding on paths and earlier this year I had to call an ambulance for a dominos rider who came off his bike in Cedar road yards from the junction with Brighton road.
