A couple who met on 01/02/03 took the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get married on 11/12/13 - the last time three consecutive numbers will line up for 90 years.

Andrew Wollaston, 46, an operations manager, and Sylvia Kah, 47, an office manager, from Kenley, married at Sutton register office today.

Incredibly the couple met ten years ago on 01/02/03 so today's date seemed like the perfect time to get married.

It is the last time this century the dates will line up in consecutive order. The couple even made sure they officially tied the knot at 14.15 (2.15pm) to complete the sequence.

Mrs Wollaston said: "Today’s date means so much to us as we met on the 1st of February 2003, 10 years ago.

"We are overjoyed that we have been able to have our special day on this special date and we are really grateful to Sutton Council registry office for making sure we were pronounced husband and wife at exactly 14:15pm."
