Images of Sutton's most wanted suspects have been released as police launch a bid to make sure they are caught before Christmas.
Arrest warrants on the eight, including a suspected robber and a woman wanted in connection with a burglary, have been issued and police are hoping for the public's help in locating them.
Superintendent Fran Smith urged the suspects to give themselves up and has appealed to anyone who knows where they are to contact police.
She said: "Assisting an offender who has committed an arrestable offence is considered a serious offence in its own right by the courts.
"This could involve hiding an offender, assisting an offender in avoiding arrest and lying to police to protect the offender from investigation and prosecution. The maximum sentence for assisting an offender varies from three to ten years’ jail depending on the seriousness of the offender’s offence."
If you know where any of the suspects are you can contact police on 101 or the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
