Anyone wanting a break from the chaos of Christmas can join a relaxing walk in a Cheam beauty spot.
Friends of Nonsuch is holding its annual Christmas Day and Boxing Day walks running from the Stable Block at Nonsuch Park from 8am to 11am each day.
There will be tea, coffee, mince pies and dog biscuits.
Councillor Mary Burstow, who is organising the walks, said: "This is not just a chance for dog walkers to escape the madness of Christmas Day, it is for anyone who wants to go for a walk in Nonsuch Park and meet up with fellow walkers.
"It doesn't matter that you do not know anybody, because everyone is so friendly and welcoming."
