Christmas babies get woollen bonnets at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals
Midwives at Epsom and St Helier hospitals have been handing out knitted bonnets to babies born over the Christmas period.
The maternity ward received around 100 multi-coloured woollen bonnets as part of the Knitted with love campaign by The Sun newspaper.
Baby Noah, born on December 19, modelled his new bonnet at St Helier hospital with first time mum Leanne Robinson and dad Kraig Seymour, from Mitcham.
The maternity department is celebrating its recent success in the Care Quality Commission’s survey of women’s experiences in maternity which found the Epsom and St Helier trust is one of the best places in London to give birth.
