A man was airlifted to hospital after falling from a building in Walton yesterday.

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to Hepworth Way at about 1.30pm on Wednesday, January 8, after reports someone had fallen from a roof.

A 25-year-old man, who sustained head, abdomen, leg and foot injuries, was airlifted to King’s College Hospital.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said the man had fallen “about 40ft” and police say he remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Police are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
