Schoolchildren in Sutton were told to keep dreaming during an inspirational workshop by a Japanese car dealership.

Greenshaw High School in Grennell Road welcomed Honda's School of Dreams team for a two-day 'thinking skills' seminar.

The School of Dreams programme encourages young people to pursue their life's goals, providing skills and strategies to help achieve their aims.

Greenshaw students aged nine to 13 were joined by pupils from three Sutton primary schools - All Saints Benhilton, Westbourne and Manor Park - as well as Tweeddale Primary School in Carshalton.

Teachers and pupils teamed up to work in small groups and learned about real-life examples of people who have achieved their dreams.

They were also taught new skills such as juggling.

Staff from Ewell Honda car dealership also joined in the fun.

Greenshaw headteacher William Smith said: “It was a great two days.

"We particularly liked the participation between primary and secondary schools, and the use of learning skills to develop the students’ confidence and communication strategies.”
