I am writing to yo to say thank you to the teenage girl who helped me across the road to get my bus.
I am 83 and on Sunday 5 January the traffic was very heavy in Brighton Road.
The young girl was opposite me at the bus stop and noticed I was having difficulty crossing over.
She walked into the road and stopped the traffic and walked me across safely and then helped me onto the bus.
I was so surprised by her actions and was so pleased to see that such a young person was interested in someone else and took time to assist me.
I keep thinking about her and wanted to let readers know a positive story about a young Sutton resident.
