A depressed 75-year-old man who went missing from his relatives’ home in Carshalton has been found dead.
Ronald Lane, from Durham, went missing in a silver Ford Focus, from Burns Close, in Carshalton, at around 6am on Wednesday morning.
He had driven with his wife from Durham to stay with family in Carshalton and arrived Tuesday evening.
He was found dead in his car in Washington, West Sussex, yesterday. His next of kin have been informed and a post mortem will be held in due course.
