For some years now I have been unable to shop in Central Sutton because as I have aged (I am now 82) I have found it impossible to climb back up that hill.
How wonderful it has been over the last two months to know that having walked down the hill, shopping as I go, it has been possible to catch a ride on the new buggy service. It is an absolute life saver. Whilst the service lasts I can shop in the security of knowing I don't have to wend my very weary way back up the hill. If it doesn't continue, then once again I will have to shop elsewhere where the High Street is flat.
So please, please, help convince the local businesses that they will encourage more and more people to shop in Sutton if they continue to fund this valuable buggy service.
