Is it just me or does it seem rather insensitive to have children from the local £13,716 a year independent school seeking donations for a rugby tour, by offering to pack bags at the tills of a supermarket in West Croydon?
It is fairly obvious that the average shopper in this branch of Sainsbury's, is nowhere near the demographic group as these teenage boys.
Appearing charitable is good PR for the big supermarkets, but for a corporation that spends a lot of money on trying to understand what makes their customers tick, this seems very odd.
