Boys at a private school have been skipping to raise money for charity.
Youngster from Homefield Preparatory School in Sutton completed 40,000 skips on Friday, February 14, in order to raise money for Get Kids Going a charity which provides disabled children with equipment.
The school has also announced the appointment of a new headteacher following the departure of Robin Mowbray last year.
New head: John Towers
John Towers will start at the school in September 2014 and said: "I am delighted to be appointed headteacher and it is a great privilege to be able to join such a happy and vibrant school of such heritage and reputation."
