An elderly man from Esher was rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in his bathroom.
A crew from Esher fire station were called to his house at 1.40pm on Sunday, February 23, to assist ambulance crews.
The elderly man fell in his bathroom and injured himself and paramedics were unable to get to him so called firefighters to help. Firefighters used an electric saw to cut a hole in the door before pulling the rest of the door away to make the scene safe.
The crew then helped paramedics carry him from the home before he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
