Anyone who wants to live a healthier lifestyle is invited to drop into Croydon’s revamped healthy living hub.

Based in Central Library, Katharine Street, it offers one to one advice on physical activity, weight loss, dieting and quitting smoking.

It launched on February 15 with a host of events including cookery demonstrations and the chance to make your own smoothie.

The advice service is open from 11am to 6pm on Monday and from 11am to 5pm Tuesday to Thursday.

Croydon Council’s cabinet member for adult services and health Councillor Margaret Mead said: “The healthy living hub is a great way for people to get free, informal advice about improving their health.

“You can simply drop in without making an appointment and have a chat about any health concerns you may have.”
