A woman needed oxygen after breathing in smoke from a frying pan which started a fire in her kitchen.
Epsom fire station were called to the incident at a flat in Wandle Court, West Ewell, on the Watersedge Estate, at 11.50am yesterday, March 10.
An Epsom fireman said the small fire in the kitchen was caused by a frying pan which had gotten too hot and ignited.
He said a woman suffered the effects of smoke inhalation and was given oxygen at the scene by the fire service.
Firefighters fitted the property with a smoke alarm.
