A group of schoolgirls have organised a charity netball tournament that will be attended by England players.

Year 9 girls Lauren Emanuel, Anna Perkins, Amy Crisp, Mollie Hrubshova and Natasha Rodrigues, who collectively know themselves as the Young Volcanoes, are raising money for African education charity Wings of Hope and have planned a range of fundraising activities in recent months.

The latest is an inter-school netball tournament that will be held at Nonsuch School in Cheam on Sunday. Among those attending the event will be England netball stars Rachel Dunn, Hannah Reid and Katy Holland.

The event runs from 10am to 1pm and is open to the public. Sutton mayor Councillor Sean Brennan and Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake will hand out the prizes.
