Five Carshalton High School girls have managed to do what Liverpool look unlikely to - get their hands on the Premier League trophy.
A team of five from the West Street school beat around 3,000 other young people from around the country to reach the final of the Premier League Enterprise Challenge.
Helen Thapa, Chloe Mistry, Priya Maheswaran, Christabel Antwi and Unika Cumberbatch-Wynter had to take part in a football business-based challenge set by Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore and present their plans.
The group managed to make it to the final six teams but lost out in a tense final. Prior to the event the girls went to Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake for some advice on public speaking.
He said: "After a sneak peak of their presentation, it was clear that the Carshalton girls had spent an impressive amount of time and effort getting it just right."
"The girls are a real credit to their school and to the community."
During the event the team were given the chance to pose beside the Premier League trophy.
