Dignitaries and charity representatives enjoyed a reception hosted by the mayor of Elmbridge last week.

More than 100 guests, including councillors and staff from the mayor’s chosen charity, Riding for the Disabled Leatherhead and Horsley and Bookham groups, celebrated the end of Councillor Mike Bennison’s mayoral year.

Coun Bennison said: “It has certainly been a year to remember and we have been privileged to represent the borough and to experience events and witness the extraordinary range of activities and talents operating in Elmbridge.”

The reception was held at ACS Cobham International School and students performed musical medley’s for those in attendance.
