Do you fancy being trained by one of the country's most successful swimmers of all time?

Mark Foster, the former six-times world champion, will be inspiring the next generation of swimmers during the May half-term by offering a one-day swim camp.

Youngsters attending the camp will also have the chance to be coached by world backstroke champion Katy Sexton.

Children will be coached on all aspects from improving stroke technique, speed and endurance, to advanced land training fitness, strength and flexibility programmes as well as motivation, self-belief, race preparation and tips on nutrition.

The camp will be open to young swimmers, aged between 11 and 18, years who hold stage seven or above qualification in the ASA learn to swim framework, as well as those who already swim at club level and are aiming for county, regional or national qualifying times.

Foster says: "I'm excited to help find and inspire the next generation of swimmers. I've put together a team of some of the most knowledgeable people in sport to help me cram the day with the most up to date techniques, drills and methods available to swimmers so they can be the best they can be."

A ticket for the event includes a Mark's Sporting Heroes Book and a swimming cap.
