Scott McDonald, 25, of Long Walk, Epsom, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with a head injury after an attack at a private property in Tattenham Way at about 11pm on Saturday.
Mr McDonald has been released on conditional bail before appearing at South East Surrey Magistrates' Court on Friday, June 6.
