Many people in the area complain of low flying planes - but a Carshalton man got a shock when he found a plane stuck in his tree.

Fortunately the plane is just a model aircraft and now the man who found it is looking to reunite it with its owner.

John Murray was at his home in Warnham Court Road when he spotted the plane lodged high up in his conifer on Friday, May 16.

Mr Murray did some research and found the plane, which has a four foot wingspan, is worth around £200 so put posters up in the area appealing for its owner to come forward.

He even contacted the Croydon Airport Model Flying Club but has had no joy.

Is the plane yours? If so, get in touch with reporter Mike Murphy-Pyle on 020 8722 6359 and we will put you in touch with Mr Murray.
