Croquet-loving Cheam people got a treat when two giants of the sport battled it out at their local green.
British number one Stephen Mulliner and British number three Howard Cheyne went toe-to-toe on Monday May 19.
The gripping contest was enjoyed by 45 spectators, who gathered for the most high-profile croquet match the borough has ever seen.
The match took place at Cheam Croquet and Bowls Club in Tudor Close.
Mr Mulliner, who is also ranked number 3 in the world, won the game 2/1.
