A teenager threw a bottle full of ice and washing up liquid at a pregnant woman as he sped past her in a car.

Police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened as the 23-year-old woman was standing at a bus stop opposite Carshalton Beeches train station in Park Hill at 9.45pm on Sunday, May 24.

A male passenger in a white hatchback hurled the two litre Asda Eden Falls bottle at the six-months-pregnant woman, hitting her in the stomach.

The woman was taken to hospital but was not injured.

Analysis of the bottle revealed it was full of ice and washing up liquid.

The suspect is aged around 19 and is a white man.
