Brownies got the chance to see how banks make sure their customers can get their hands on their money last week.

The group from 1st Sutton Brownies visited Metro Bank in Sutton High Street as part of their 'number fun' badge on Tuesday, June 3.

During the visit, the 19 Brownies saw behind the scenes in the bank's vault, looked at how bank cards are made and spoke with the bank's telephone banking base in Holborn.

The youngsters also met Metro Man in person and had their picture taken with the bank's mascot.
