Detectives are hunting for a teenage boy who flashed his genitals at an eight-year-old girl in a playground.

The girl was on the swings at the Amy Johnson Play Centre in Wallington when a teenager with fashionable quiffed hair flashed at her on Monday, June 9, at 5.45pm.

The teenager first approached the girl at about 5pm. She was playing in the area, which is at the rear of the premises near Foresters Drive, and her came over and said "hello" to her as she played on a tyre swing.

The girl ran off and told a supervisor what happened. She returned to the play area about 45 minutes later and the youth was still there.

The teenager said "hello" again then pulled down his trousers and exposed himself to the girl.

The suspect is a white teenager of medium build with black, fashionable, quiffed hair. He had brown eyes and no distinguishing facial marks.

He was wearing a light blue T-shirt, blue trousers and smart shoes. He was carrying a black back pack.

If you have information that could help police, you can call 101 or the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
