A former pupil from Greenshaw High in Sutton has seen her work appear in a top exhibition.

Estelle Chung recently graduated in industrial design at Brunel University in Uxbridge.

The 22-year-old designed a desk-top server for smartphone computer chip developers.

Her design featured in the Made in Brunel exhibition between Thursday, June 12 and Sunday, June 15.

She said: "Inside every smartphone is a low energy use computer chip that is being continuously developed to make it smarter and use less energy.

"One issue they have is having to move from desk to lab to test bench when tweeking the chip. My design puts all of those tasks right where they need it."

The Made in Brunel exhibition is based at Bargehouse in South Bank.

It showcases the work of design and engineering students, helping them to develop links with professionals in the industry.

Ms Chung is from Croydon.
