Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake is supporting a campaign to tackle prostate cancer.
Mr Brake is getting behind a drive from Prostate Cancer UK to end injustices faced by men grappling with the illness.
They argue there is a postcode lottery when it comes to ensuring all men gain access to the best possible treatments and information.
Mr Brake said: "Prostate cancer kills one man every hour.
"Men and their families continue to face an uphill struggle on a number of fronts, from awareness of risk, through to gaining access to vital support or world class treatments.
"Together with Prostate Cancer UK I want to ensure that all men in Carshalton and Wallington are armed with knowledge of their risk of prostate cancer, and that those living with it have everything they need to tackle the disease head on."
