A Carshalton College student has had his work shortlisted to appear in a Royal Academy of Arts exhibition.
The academy received over 2,100 submissions from schools and colleges.
36 works were chosen to appear and 70 were shortlisted.
22-year-old Art and Design student Daniel Kegan's self portrait is now in the running to feature in the exhibition.
Daniel's tutor Annette Vigurs said: "He is a talented and hard working student who has a unique personal style of drawing that is intuitive and distinctive.
"Daniel has been studying at Carshalton College for four years and achieved high standards throughout and a final distinction grade."
The Royal Academy of Arts 2014 A-level Summer Exhibition is an online showcase which goes live on August 17.
