An articulated lorry has driven into the railway bridge near Carshalton station causing both rail and road delays.
The Pallex Lorry collided with the bridge in North Street at 5.44pm, causing the top of the lorry to be pulled back.
The driver is believed to be unhurt although the lorry is severely damaged.
The incident is believed to be causing disruption to services going through the station and traffic is being held up while the lorry is stranded.
