A commuter died after collapsing at Cheam station this morning.
A traveller found the man, believed to be in his 40s, on platform one at 6.18am and called emergency services.
An emergency responder and two ambulances went to the scene and extensive efforts were made to resuscitate the man.
He was taken to St Helier hospital where doctors pronounced he had died at 7.30am.
The man's next of kin have been informed.
British Transport Police are investigating and a cordon remains in place at the scene. Trains have not been affected.
