One-time pop star Dane Bowers teamed up with cricket legend Phil Tufnell to raise £2,5000 for a leading charity for youngsters with complex disabilities.

The men took part in a celebrity cricket match in aid of The Children’s Trust, in Tadworth Court, on Sunday, June 29, at Epsom College.

A crowd of families and friends soaked up the sunshine and sipped on champagne whilst watching the match.

"Tuffers" is a long-term supporter and vice president of the trust, which helps children with multiple and complex disabilities and acquired brain injury.

Television presenter Adrian Mills, former professional footballer John Salako and Philip Green of Britain’s Got Talent also took part in the match.
