The "inspirational fundraising" of a creative schoolgirl has been recognised by an air ambulance charity.
Lucy Zoeller, 8, from West Ewell, was presented a certificate thanking her for raising £60 by selling her colourful loom bracelets to family and friends.
Her fundraising was in aid of the Lucy Air Ambulance Charity, the country’s first dedicated air transfer service to fly critically ill youngsters from local hospitals to a relevant centre of excellence.
Last month, Lucy’s head of communication and fundraising visited Danetree Junior School, in Danetree Road, Ewell to make the presentation and acknowledge the student’s "inspirational" fundraising efforts.
