Day patients at Sam Beare Hospice enjoyed being pampered as part of a spa and relaxation day.
A two hour masterclass, led by cancer support charity Look Good Feel Better, saw beauty professionals explain skincare and make-up regimes.
The day aimed to improve the wellbeing and confidence of people undergoing cancer treatment, improve self-confidence and allow them to meet others undergoing similar treatment.
Lucia Villalobes, who was visiting for the first time, said: "I am quite an independent person and attending the hospice had not really been on my radar, but I received information about the spa day and thought it was something different.
"I am not really used to wearing make-up, but it was good to have a go and you can certainly see the difference."
Other sessions planned for patients include more relaxation sessions, managing fatigue and breathlessness and memory folder workshops.
