A family home was burgled while a parent popped out to pick up their child from nursery.

Jewellery, bangles, and a spare car key were stolen in the break-in, but the car itself was not taken.

The burglary took place on Thursday, August 21.

Sutton police advise the public not to have jewellery on display in their homes, and to keep it in a safe securely fixed to the wall.

If you have any information about the burglary call police on 101, or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
