The Mayor of London's Office is ploughing £10,000 into Sutton Community Farm, as part of a grassroots project to help out-of-work Londoners.
The volunteer programme is designed to increase training opportunities for the young unemployed- helping to hone their horticultural skills whilst giving something back to the community.
Sutton Community Farm is a social enterprise which provides a shared space for local people to grow fresh vegetables and cultivate their skills.
It is one of 10 organisations to receive the Mayor of London funding to support volunteering and training.
