Building work has been completed at Sutton station, with a new entrance opening up to commuters later this evening.
The additional entrance can be accessed by stairs and a ramp from The Quadrant, and via a walkway off of Brighton Road.
The work is the first part of a £1.3m renovation of the station.
The new opening will ease the traffic of commuters going in and out of the station travelling to and from work, as it will provide a new access point for people leaving Quadrant House in The Quadrant.
Pedestrians will now have easier access from Brighton Road to The Quadrant, as a walkway cut off during the period of building work has now been reopened.
The work began in the spring.
