People living in a quiet residential street were evacuated from their homes in a bomb scare, after a glass bottle packed with nails was found rigged up to a digital clock.
Bailiffs securing the property in Creston Way, Worcester Park, were making sure the place was empty when they made the discovery.
The bottle contained a blue liquid and nails, and was connected to a circuit board and clock.
Sutton police were called out shortly after the items were found at roughly 3pm.
They put a crime scene in place, evacuated people from their homes, and cordoned off Creston Way.
An explosives officer also attended, and residents were able to return after the device was deemed not to be dangerous.
The bomb scare took place on Thursday, September 4.
