A man was asking women to have sex with him in a public place because he was 'having a bad day', Sutton Police have said.

According to police two separate women were propositioned for sex 15 minutes apart on Monday September 15 by a 'well spoken and well dressed' man.

Both women declined.

The reports came in between 9.45pm and 10pm from the women, who said they had been approached while walking in Thicket Road and Benhill Road.

Sutton Police said the man told one of the women: "I’m having a bad day.

"I feel the need for sex with a stranger in a public place."

He told the other woman about the thrill of possibly being caught in the act.

Sutton Police is keen to identify this man described as being of Asian appearance, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, 5ft 10in and of slim build.

He was smartly dressed with a white shirt and black trousers.

No offences have been alleged.
