The Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community have joined together in making a charity calendar.

Picture Calendar Girls meets The Full Monty, the calendar will be released online on Saturday, November 1 on the Sutton LGBT Forum, lgbtsutton.co.uk.

Drag superstar Dave Lynn will feature on the cover and a variety of different sized men, from different backgrounds, will grace the monthly pages.

The brains behind the LGBT calendar, Markus Martinez, 28, will appear as Mr November.

The shoot took place on Brighton beach with the models including men from Sutton and the surrounding area to help promote the LGBT Forum.

Mr Martinez aims to raise more than £1,000 for the Sutton LGBT Forum through the charity calendar.

The volunteer run organisation holds regular social events, advice projects, workshops and a youth service to help and strengthen the Sutton LGBT community. It also gives Sutton’s LGBTs a voice.

Tyrone Ashby, founder of LGBT Sutton, said: "I am delighted at the fact that local Sutton guys are doing this for the forum. We are very excited to see the calendar and we shall all attend the launch."

The two launch events will be open to the general public.

The first will take place in Brighton at Charles Street on October 24, 25 and 26 from 7pm until late.

The second launch will take place in Clapham’s The 2 Brewers.

The date is yet to be confirmed. Mr Martinez said: "I am just so excited to highlight the good work the Sutton LGBT Forum do and hopefully, inspire young and old people to be true to themselves."
