Four teenagers were arrested in a spate of drug searches across Wallington last week.

Police with sniffer dogs raided two houses in Manor Road, and another in Ross Road, seizing cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

A 16-year-old man from Manor Road who was arrested for possession of cannabis has been bailed until mid-November.

A 17-year-old woman from the same address was also arrested for possession, but was later released with no further action being taken.

At the second Manor Road address, officers arrested an 18-year-old man and cautioned him for possession of cannabis.

An 18-year-old man was also arrested and cautioned for possession of cannabis at an address in Ross Road.

The raids were carried out by officers from the Wallington South and Wallington North Safer Neighbourhoods Teams, who acted on tip-offs from members of the public.

A police helicopter joined the operation to help officers on the ground carry out the raids.
