A private fertility clinic is to offer a refund to IVF couples if they fail to have a baby.
NewLife, based in The Pines, The Parade, Epsom, will offer its patients 70 per cent of their money back if the treatment they receive does not result in pregnancy.
The clinic has teamed up with Access Fertility - the country’s first independent provider of IVF payment programmes and treatment plans - to become the first fertility clinic in Surrey and Greater London to provide Access Fertility's innovative IVF Refund programme.
It aims to reduce the financial pressures and emotional toll IVF treatment can have.
Only approximately 30 per cent of IVF cycles initiated in women under 35-years-old result in a baby.
Amin Gafar, medical director at the clinic, said: "We are delighted to partner with Access Fertility to offer programmes that give patients undertaking our highly specialised and bespoke fertility therapies added financial security in the event of unsuccessful treatment."
