Primary school pupils joined hands to form a ring around St Dunstan’s Church in Cheam, as part of a ceremony to mark its 150th anniversary.
Around 120 children from St Dunstan’s Church of England Primary School, in Anne Boleyn’s Walk, Sutton, attended the clipping of the church on Monday, November 17.
The ancient tradition brings children of the parish together to form a ring around the church, as well as praying and singing.
The practice was revived to mark the anniversary of the building in Church Road, Cheam.
