Emergency crews are performing 'life-saving' procedures on a woman in Crosslands Court, Wallington.

Officer from Sutton police and London Ambulance were called to Wallington after receiving reports of an injured woman.

The call was made to Sutton police at 12.43pm by the woman's friend.

A witness said that ambulance had backed an ambulance up to the front doors of a High Street flat between Boots and a jewellers to take someone away without the public seeing.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police denied online conjecture saying there was "nothing to indicate that it was a murder".

There are still no details as to the nature of the woman's injuries other than she is still being treated at the scene by medics who are carrying out 'life saving procedures'.

At this stage police say there is nothing to indicate the matter is suspicious.
