A public-spirited pharmacist has won the top prize in a competition run by Woman’s Weekly.
Reena Barai, who owns S. G. Barai Pharmacy in Erskine Road, Sutton, was voted Britain’s Best Pharmacist by readers of the magazine.
Sutton Mayor Arthur Hookway presented her with the prize on Monday, December 15.
Ms Barai said: "One of the greatest strengths of community pharmacists is that many of us build close relationships with patients.
"I often joke it is like marriage - for better or worse, in sickness and in health."
