Jewel thieves have stolen priceless family heirlooms from a house in Carshalton.
The burglars smashed their way through patio doors at the back of the house, before taking a necklace and a solid silver bracelet.
The matching pieces were made by the homeowner’s father.
A gold ring and a jewel encrusted horseshoe brooch were also stolen from the house in Poulton Avenue.
Neighbours said they heard banging noises at around 5.30pm when the break-in took place on Monday, December 22.
