Is snow on the way?
The Met Office has issued a cold weather warning this morning for the country including London and Surrey.
The Met Office say there is a 60% chance of freezing weather across London from today lasting until Tuesday midday. In Surrey the risk is 70%.
Elsewhere in the country snow has already fallen.
Elderly and vulnerable people are being warned about the risks of long periods of cold weather.
Hospital trusts are being told to refer to their cold weather plans.
Sleet and wintry showers
In Croydon the temperature is forecast to be close to freezing for much of the weekend with the wind adding a chill factor.
