Thousands of pounds will go to help children with cancer after a successful football match and fun day at the weekend.
Serial marathon runner Paul Pearce organised the event on Sunday at Raynes Park Vale FC, collecting £3,000 in sponsorship and donations, with more to come.
Mr Pearce, 31, of Stavordale Road, Carshalton, was among those to play in the charity football match which ended 6 - 4 to the opposing team.

There was a bouncy castle, face painting and penalty shoot-out to keep youngsters entertained, and a raffle had prizes including bottles of wine, premier league football tickets and iPads up for grabs.
Mr Pearce, a second team captain at Raynes Park Vale FC, said: "It’s a cause close to everyone’s hearts.
"I might be no-one but if I can do something little that helps.
"Cancer is terrible, it’s a killer.
"I hope this money can make it better for someone - I want to make a difference."
Mr Pearce is gearing up for his fourth marathon this April although training was put on hold while he organised the charity football match held on Sunday, January 25.
Both the football match and marathon run are in aid of Children with Cancer UK.
