Carshalton campaigner Kathy McGuinness was celebrating last week, after internet giants Sky and TalkTalk added default porn filters to their services.
The mum-of-four, who is co-founder of Child’s Eye Line UK, fights to prevents youngsters from seeing harmful images in everyday life.
The group have been lobbying the Government to protect children from online porn, claiming research shows nearly all 11-year-olds in the UK have seen the content.
Sky and TalkTalk’s default filters mean people wanting access to porn must request to lift the block, while customers of other services need to install the filter themselves.
Mc McGuninness said: "We have campaigned hard on this issue for two years and we are so pleased that the leading ISPs, first Sky and now TalkTalk, are putting child welfare before profit."
