Joice Maduaka failed to make further progress during last weekend's European Indoor Championships in Birmingham as she crashed out in the semi-finals stages of the women's 60m, writes Ziad Chaudry.
The 33-year-old Croydon sprint star, who got a late entry into the GB team, finished a disappointing seventh in 7.30 seconds.
The GB team topped the medal table overall with 10 medals.
