A ninth person has been arrested in relation to the murder of 16-year-old James Andre Smartt-Ford at Streatham Ice Rink.
Police confirmed a 16-year-old male from the South Norwood area was arrested last night.
He is currently in custody at a south London police station.
James Smarrt-Ford died after being shot at Streatham ice rink on February 3.
Detective Superintendent Gary Richardson, who is investigating the 16-year-old's murder, said: "James' family are devastated, and understandably finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that their 16-year-old son, who went out to an ice-skating event, will no longer be coming home."
Police said the shooting took place near to the venue entrance, but James managed to stagger onto the ice.
He was taken to hospital but pronounced dead.
Within three days of the shooting, six male youths and an 18-year-old man were arrested and bailed.
Another person has been arrested but police have refused to release any more details.
